There are so many benefits to volunteering, it’s an amazing way to feel connected in your community, meet new people, build your confidence, improve your mental and physical health, spend time connected to nature, increase your skills and interests and so much more.
If you are interested in volunteering with Concrete Garden, there are many ways to get involved:
- In the gardens – we have focussed volunteer roles including Garden mentors, maintenance, workshop assistants, watering, cookery assistants
- At events and action days – join our flexible volunteer pool to heard about opportunities working on specific projects/ builds in the garden and helping at our celebration events
- Organisational support- through joining our board of trustees, garden and volunteer working groups
All volunteers will be given full induction and on going support, as well as welcomed to attend further training and development opportunities we offer year round, our volunteer recognitions and celebrations and most importantly have your voice heard. We strive to be a volunteer led program and respond to the needs of the community.
We strive to make volunteering at Concrete Garden flexible, responsive and accessible. Whether you can get involved regularly or would just like to keep in the loop of future volunteering actions days and help out whenever you can, we welcome you to get in touch!
